Food & Restaurant Rating Criteria

Food is my love language, so yes—my reviews go beyond “masarap” or “okay lang.” Here’s how I judge restaurants, cafés, food stalls, and everything in the dining universe.

Again, everything is scored from 1 to 10.

What I Consider When Rating Restaurants

1. Taste & Quality
Is the food fresh? Flavorful? Memorable? Or something I wouldn’t try again even if it’s free?

2. Ambiance
Lighting, music, layout—ambiance can upgrade a meal from “good” to “amazing.”

3. Service
Friendly staff? Quick service? Do they care, or are they just surviving the shift?

4. Menu Variety
Are the offerings unique? Is there something for everyone?

5. Value for Money
Did the price matched the taste, serving, and experience

2 – Poor: Not enjoyable at all.
1 – Not Worth It: Hard pass. Please don’t.

Transparency Note: If the meal was sponsored, part of a collaboration, or complimentary, I will say so. But my ratings? Still based on taste, quality, and real experience.
