If you are looking for a comfortable, convenient, and value-for-money staycation in Bacolod, Azra Bacolod at Mesavirre is worth considering. Located at Mesavirre Garden Residences, Lacson St, Bacolod, 6100 Negros Occidental, this property offers a mix of practical amenities, clean and comfortable accommodations, and accessibility to nearby attractions. This review is based entirely on my personal experience during my stay.

Room Booked: One-Bedroom Luxury Suite
I booked the One-Bedroom Luxury Suite, which is normally priced at ₱3,100, but I was able to secure it for ₱2,000 using my Agoda discount code ZACPHSTAYS. Booking through Klook with the ZACPHONKLOOK also gives discounts on accommodations and experiences. The suite was spacious, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay.
Comfort and Cleanliness | 9/10
The luxury suite offered excellent comfort. The bed, furniture, and general layout made it feel cozy and welcoming. The unit was clean, neat, and hygienic throughout my stay. The surrounding area was tidy, and the streets near Mesavirre Garden Residences were free from litter.
The suite also features a back massager, which added a small but appreciated touch to the relaxation experience during the stay.
Service and Hospitality | 10/10
I did not personally require assistance, as everything was ready and well-prepared upon arrival. The self check-in system was easy and smooth. The overall organization reflected careful planning and attention to guest convenience.
Amenities and Facilities | 9/10
Facilities like the gym, swimming pool, and parking area are available for a small additional fee. They were clean, accessible, and well maintained based on my experience.
Inside the suite, the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking appliances and tools such as an air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, water heater, pans, and knives. Other items included a steam iron, extension cord, hair blower, two TVs, two air conditioners, toiletries, air purifier, and the back massager mentioned earlier.
Location | 9/10
The property is slightly secluded from the city proper but offers a quieter neighborhood. Convenience stores and local restaurants are nearby, making daily needs easy to manage. It is also centrally located enough to reach major Bacolod attractions without difficulty, which is ideal for sightseeing or leisurely trips.
Value for Money | 10/10
The regular suite price is 3,100 pesos, but I booked it for 2,000 pesos with Agoda discounts. Considering the comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and location, this is an excellent deal. Booking with discounts makes the stay even more worthwhile.
Additional Things to Note
- Ideal for barkada or family staycations. Up to six guests can comfortably fit in the unit.
- Netflix access was limited in my stay duration, but casting to the TV works perfectly.
- Self check-in makes arrival easy and convenient.
- Additional bed for children aged seven years and below are free if using existing bedding.
